Green Day have released a music video for their new track "Oh Love," the lead single off their upcoming ¡Uno! album.
The new video is directed by Samuel Bayer. It features the band surrounded by a number of models while the trio performs the new cut in an atmosphere complete with graffiti-laced walls and tattered furniture.
¡Uno! is set to be released on September 25. It is the first in a three-album cycle, which also includes ¡Dos!, set to be released in November, and ¡Tré!, which is coming out in January.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong describes the new track as "shooting from the crotch area" and says the band's new albums are a return to old-fashioned song writing.
"The last two albums, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, sort of bookend each other, and it's the end of that era," Armstrong told MTV News. "And I think with writing these three albums, we just started writing songs, just getting back to basics . . . ¡Uno! is more of a power-pop record, ¡Dos! is more of a party, garage record, and ¡Tré! is sort of this epic ending . . . It's kind of like going around the world in 37 songs with Green Day."
