Thailand will on Monday release Q2 figures for gross domestic product, highlighting a modest day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. GDP was up 11.0 percent on quarter and 0.3 percent on year in the previous three months.

Japan will provide final June figures for its leading and coincident indexes. Little change is expected from the preliminary readings that suggested a score of 92.6 for the leading index and 93.8 for the coincident index.

Finally, the stock markets in Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia are closed on Monday for Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslim holiday that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
