Actress Amanda Bynes is reportedly under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after reportedly fleeing the scene of a minor traffic accident. The incident occurred on August 4 and though no one was injured, the other driver reportedly suffered $800 in damages.
Police Lt. Andy Neiman released an official statement on the case noting the Bynes did stop after the accident, but drove away after determining that there had been no damage. By law drivers are required to exchange insurance information following any collision in California.
The incident could land Bynes in hot water as she recently pleaded not guilty to drunk driving charges. She was briefly taken into custody in April after she nicked a parked Sheriff's vehicle while driving in Los Angeles.
