3D Systems Corp.(DDD: Quote) announced that it plan to partner with the administration's National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute or "NAMII", a federal initiative to enhance the competitiveness of US industry, re-localize manufacturing through technology, create new jobs and increase exports.

"We are pleased to be part of a real visionary government initiative powered by 3D printing to increase our national competitiveness," said Cathy Lewis, Vice President of Global Marketing, 3D Systems.
