Kid Rock has once again shown his love for his hometown of Detroit, this time by penning a new anthem for the NFL's Detroit Lions. The new track is titled "In Detroit" and was recorded as part of the new Pepsi Anthems series.
Kid is one of several rock and hip-hop stars to record new songs for their hometown football teams. He joins Kelly Clarkson (Dallas Cowboys), Ice Cube (Oakland Raiders) and Travie McCoy (New York Giants). All of the new anthems will soon be available via PepsiAnthems.com.
A new track will be released each week at the site and fans will have the chance to download them all for free starting in February. The final track released will be a remix of Wiz Khalifa's Pittsburgh Steelers anthem "Black and Yellow."
