Inflation expectations among New Zealanders remained unchanged in the September quarter, the latest survey by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Tuesday.
The median two-year ahead inflation expectations was unchanged at 2.5 percent. The median one-year expectations was also steady at 2 percent.
Meanwhile, mean expectations of the two-year series decreased by a larger amount, falling from 2.41 percent last quarter to 2.32 percent now.
The latest official CPI figure from Statistics New Zealand for the year to June 2012 was 1 percent.
