Danish brewer Carlsberg (CABGY.PK) said it has increased its ownership of Baltika Breweries in Russia by 12.05% to 96.77% via. a voluntary offer that expired on August 9. The offer was made through Carlsberg's fully-owned unit, Baltic Beverages Holding Aktiebolag, and satisfied the minimum conditions.
Also, the Carlsberg Group plans to launch a compulsory purchase of the remaining outstanding shares in Baltika Breweries, soon after the completion of the necessary administrative steps.
