Slovenia's producer price inflation increased modestly in July, after easing in the previous month, data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia showed Tuesday.
The producer price index increased 0.8 percent year-on-year in July, slightly faster than the 0.7 percent gain seen in June. In May, the rate of growth was 1 percent.
Mining and quarrying prices rose 0.5 percent annually during the month, while manufacturing prices advanced 0.8 percent.
Prices of both consumer goods and energy products moved up 0.6 percent each from a year earlier, while intermediate goods prices advanced 0.5 percent. Capital goods prices were higher by 1.6 percent compared to July 2011.
Sequentially, output prices remained unchanged in July, after rising 0.1 percent in June, the agency said.
