Paul Simon is prepping the release of his Live in New York City in three separate formats: 2-CD/1-DVD, Blu-ray and standard DVD. The show was filmed in 2011 at the NYC club Webster Hall.
Simon delivers a 20-song, 90-minute show, including "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," "Kodakchrome" and "Still Crazy After All These Years." Two Simon and Garfunkel songs, "The Sound of Silence" and "The Only Living Boy in New York," are also included.
Simon was joined on stage by Cameroonian guitarist Vincent Nguini, guitarist/drummer Jim Oblon, pianist Mick Rossi, saxophonist/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.
