Muse have unveiled a new single, "Madness," the second single (following the Olympic theme "Survival") to be released from their forthcoming album, The 2nd Law.
"Every time you finish a new album you feel excited and nervous and anxious about what's going to happen with it when it gets released, but with this one we've discovered some new ideas for our band. Every album for me seems to open up doors to the future and this one does more than ever," drummer Dominic Howard told NME.com of the new album.
Reviewing the new track, HitFix called it, "slow moving with a fairly pedestrian melodic line," as well as "listenable modern rock when it slows down with more electronica."
The 2nd Law, the band's first album since 2009's The Resistance, is due October 1.
