NeoMedia Tech Licenses Mobile Barcode Patents To Microsoft - Quick Facts

NeoMedia Technologies Inc. (NEOM.OB) announced that it has granted Microsoft Corp. (MSFT: Quote) a worldwide, non-exclusive, license to NeoMedia's patent portfolio. NeoMedia's IP portfolio, consisting of over 74 patents awarded and pending worldwide, encompasses many mobile barcode implementations used widely across the industry.

BoJ Keeps Easing Plan Intact; Upgrades Economic View

NetApp Profit Tops Estimates; Boosts Buyback; Initiates Dividend

Data-storage products maker NetApp Inc. said Tuesday after the markets closed that its fourth quarter profit fell 4% from last year, hurt mainly by higher operating expenses even as revenue grew slightly. However, the company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, came in above analysts' expectations, but its quarterly revenue fell short of analysts' forecast.
