At 8:30 am ET Wednesday, Canada retail sales data for June is set for release. Ahead of the data, the loonie slipped against other major currencies.
At 8:25 am ET, the loonie was quoted at 0.9931 against the greenback, 1.2368 against the euro, 1.0367 against the aussie and 79.81 against the yen.
