Michael Scott "Cactus" Moser, husband/drummer for Wynonna Judd, has lost his leg following a motorcycle wreck in Deadwood, South Dakota. The pair had gone on a ride before a show, during which Cactus collided head on with another vehicle.
"Moser's left leg was severed at the scene of the accident and doctors in Rapid City, South Dakota, amputated the leg above the knee," a statement from Judd's publicist said. "He has also undergone surgery to his hand."
"Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle and was transported to a local hospital. He is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Wynonna was not involved in the accident," the statement added.
In the meantime, Judd has postponed a week's worth of concerts in Canada to remain by her hubby's side.
