Cabela's Names Sean Baker President And CEO

Cabela's Inc. (CAB: Quote) Wednesday apointed Sean Baker as its President of World's Foremost Bank. Baker will also replace Joseph Friebe as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2013.

Baker joined Cabela's as a financial analyst and was later promoted to director of accounting and finance/controller. He later assumed the position of senior director of finance. Baker most recently served as SVP, Business Development of World's Foremost Bank.

Stocks have moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Monday, recovering from an early move to the downside. Gross domestic product expanded 5.3 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2013 compared to an upwardly revised 19.1 percent growth in the fourth quarter of 2012, the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) said Monday.
