A Twitter volley between Lady Gaga and Azealia Banks has sparked rumors that the pair may be headed for a collaboration. Earlier this week, Banks raised eyebrows with her implication that Gaga had enlisted her talents:
"When Mother Monster calls ..." That was followed less than an hour later by a second tweet that promised, "Sh-- is about to get very f---ing real."
Gaga ratcheted up speculation when she suggested that she would be getting in touch with Banks soon:
"AZEALIABANKS can you make '99 Problems' my ring tone for when I call you, and then shout B*TCH AINT ONE at me when you pick up?"
Banks later replied: "Talking to Lady Gaga on tha Twitter … NBD. HUGE DEAL."
Reps for both artists have been mum on any impending collab.
