In an interview with Parade magazine, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney opened up about his favorite music, saying that the Beach Boys are among his top bands, adding: "I know it's not the same group it used to be."

Others, he noted, were Aerosmith, the Killers, Alabama, Kenny Chesney, Garth Brooks and Toby Keith. Romney's taste is nothing if not inclusive, as he then said he liked listening to "jazz, pop, rock and classical music."

Mitt was also asked if he would continue Barack Obama's tradition of holding concerts at the White House, an idea which Mitt regarded positively — with a provision:

"These are not all Republicans, by the way. Some may turn us down," to which his wife responded, "No, they would die to be mentioned."

Ann reminded Mitt that the pair are friends with former Eagles lead guitarist Don Felder.
