Earnings Watch For August 29 (HNZ, CWTR, P, ZLC)

Ketchup king H. J. Heinz Co. (HNZ) is due to post its first-quarter results before the markets open. Quarterly earnings of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Company are expected to increase to $0.80 per share from $0.78 per share in the same quarter a year earlier. Also, the company anticipates to generate revenues of $2.84 billion, slightly down from the $2.85 billion recorded a year ago. Shares of HNZ closed Tuesday's trade at $57.41. (52-wk H/L $58.31/$48.54)

Coldwater Creek, Inc. (CWTR) will post its results today. For the second quarter, the women's apparel retailer company is expected to report a loss of $0.18 per share compared to a loss of $0.27 per share last year. Besides, the company is expected to generate revenues of $179.66 million for the quarter, down from last year's $181.41 million. On Tuesday, the stock closed at $0.5961. (52-wk H/L $1.83/$0.45)

Pandora Media, Inc. (P) is scheduled to report second quarter results after the market close. The Internet radio company is expected to post a loss of $0.03 per share, on revenues of $100.94 million for the quarter. In the year-ago quarter, the Oakland, California-based company reported a profit of $0.02 per share on revenues of $66.97 million. P closed trade on Tuesday at $10.18. (52-wk H/L $15.97/$7.83)

Zale Corp. (ZLC) is slated to report results for the fourth quarter. The company is expected to report a loss of $0.84 per share versus loss of $1.04 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $405.38 million. The stock closed Tuesday at $4.12. (52-wk H/L $4.84/$2.06)

Additionally, JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (JASO), Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (ISLE), LTX-Credence Corp (LTXC), Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (YGE), Casella Waste Systems Inc. (CWST), Oxford Industries Inc. (OXM), TiVo Inc. (TIVO) are also due to report their results today.
