On what would have been the 54th anniversary of Michael Jackson's birthday, members of Jacko's family—including his kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket—spent the day visiting Six Flags Great America in Gurnee near Chicago, Illinois.
The children were accompanied by their cousin and new co-guardian, TJ Jackson, and other family members and friends.
The trip was a lead-up to the "Goin' Back to Indiana: Can You Feel It" event which takes place for the remainder of the week in Jackson's hometown of Gary, Indiana.
On August 29, Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson will lead a Candlelight Tribute honoring Michael Jackson with a performance by the Gratitude Project. The event is free and open to the public. The Jackson children and La Toya Jackson and Katherine Jackson will be in attendance.
