Belgium's inflation increased for the second straight month in August, data from the statistical office showed Thursday.
The consumer price index (CPI) rose 2.86 percent year-on-year, after increasing 2.32 percent in July. Excluding energy, inflation was 2.43 percent, up from 2.23 percent in the previous month.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices moved up 0.44 percent in August.
