James LoMenzo, former bassist of Megadeth, White Lion and Black Label Society, will appear on the upcoming season of CBS' reality series The Amazing Race.
The 53-year-old musician will travel the world for the competition alongside his friend, entertainment lawyer Mark "Abba" Abbattista. LoMenzo and Abbattista will compete against ten other teams.
The 11 teams will visit nine countries, traverse 25,000 miles and battle it out for a $2 million dollar prize, the largest cash prize in the show's history.
The season premiere of the 21st edition of the The Amazing Race is set for September 30 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
LoMenzo appeared on two Megadeth albums, 2007's United Abominations and 2009's Endgame, and also spent time playing with Zakk Wylde, Tim 'Ripper' Owens, Lynch Mob, Slash's Snakepit and HAIL!.
