The company expects to report third quarter EPS of $0.37 to $0.39 and between $1.60 and $1.63 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.39 and $1.69.
Vera Bradley gapped open sharply lower Thursday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. Shares finished down by 2.09 at $21.53 on above average volume. The stock fell to nearly a one-month low and dropped below its 50-day moving average.
