Canadian Western Bank CEO Larry Pollock To Step Down

Canadian Western Bank (CWB.TO) said Thursday that its long-serving President and Chief Executive Officer Larry Pollock has given up his role as President, but will maintain the title of CEO until he steps down on March 7, 2013 , at the Bank's 2013 Annual Meeting of shareholders.

Pollock is Canada's longest serving bank President and CEO, and has been leading Canadian Western Bank since 1990.

Chris Fowler, who was Chief Operating Officer of the company, has been appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer. Fowler has been with Canadian Western Bank since 1991.
