Robin Williams is reportedly in talks to star in his first television series since "Mork and Mindy." The new series is in production with Emmy winning writer David E. Kelley and reportedly focuses on a father and daughter navigating the advertising industry.
Williams is allegedly in talks for the lead role on the show, which will run for twenty episodes if it is, in fact, picked up. Kelley is producing alongside Bill D'Elia for 20th Century Fox Television. CBS is rumored to have an interest in the project.
Williams has been no stranger to the small screen in recent years, having appeared in episodes of "Louie" and "Wilfred." "Mork and Mindy" helped launch Williams' career in 1978 and stayed on the air through 1982. On the big screen, Williams is set to appear as Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming film "The Butler."
