Norway's consumer confidence improved for the third consecutive quarter, data released by the Finance Norway and survey group TNS Gallup showed Tuesday.
The consumer sentiment index rose to 23.4 in the third quarter from 21.9 in the second quarter. The survey was conducted between August 16 and 23.
Households' disposable income increased on good growth and low interest rates. Moreover, inflation remained low. However, assessment of economic condition for the coming year fell to -3.6 from 13.3 a quarter ago.
