Freddie Mercury is being honored in a very unique way. The frontman from Queen has been chosen to represent an angry bird.
Mercury, who was born on September 5, will be celebrated starting September 3 as an animated figure.
Fans who choose to celebrate Freddie For a Day, can emulate him by wearing leather, leotards, aviator shades or rock that famous bushy black mustache.
In addition, a special Freddie For a Day fundraising event was hosted last night by surviving Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor, for the second year in a row. Celebrities and friends gathered at the Savoy in London to honor Mercury. Funds were raised for Mercury's Phoenix Trust - Fighting Aids Worldwide.
The Angry Birds and Bravado companies will also partner up to release a limited edition Freddie Mercury Angry Bird t-shirt, which will be available at both their websites to help raise more money for Mercury's Phoenix Trust.
