Ryan Reynolds ("Green Lantern") married Blake Lively ("Gossip Girl") in a secret ceremony over the weekend. The pair have been dating since last year but had not hinted in the direction of wedding plans.
The ceremony took place at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. According to People.com, Blake's mom was on hand for the event, which was followed by a reception in a white tent at the plantation.
E! News reported that the guests included close friends and family of the pair, and that there was not a strong Hollywood contingent present.
"I am being told there were around 60 people at the event and that a local restaurant may have catered it. Ryan has always loved it here and when he got together with Blake, he started to bring her here, too," a source added to E!
