"Saturday Night Live" has announced that it has found replacements for departed cast members Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott.
Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong—all from Chicago's Second City improv theaters—will be featured on the upcoming 38th season of the sketch comedy program.
The trio join a long line of Second City performers who moved onto "SNL," including John Belushi, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and several others.
Meanwhile, "SNL" is awaiting the decision of Jason Sudeikis, a longtime cast member who does impersonations of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney and vice president Joe Biden.
Season 38 kicks off on September 15 at 11:30 PM EST on NBC with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.
