Lee Brice has been handpicked by Clemson University, his alma mater, to sing a song that he co-wrote with Brian David and Billy Montana called "Orange Empire."
The song will be sung before each Clemson football game as the team runs out on to the field.
"I remember the ride over to the stadium on the team bus," Brice recalled. "When we'd get to the top of that hill . . . there really is no describing the intensity and excitement. The fans were ready and insanely loud! When I sat down to write this song, I wanted to portray that feeling. Hopefully, it'll get 'em going!"
Brice will also host a pre-game concert on November 23 at Clemson's Littlejohn Coliseum before the Tigers face their rivals, USC.
