Finland's manufacturing turnover increased at a slower pace in June, data released by Statistics Finland showed Thursday.
Turnover in the manufacturing sector advanced 3.7 percent on an annual basis in June, notably slower than the 5.7 percent gain seen in May. In April, the rate of growth was 2 percent.
Nearly all sub-industries recorded growth in turnover in June. Export turnover grew by 7.6 percent from one year ago, while domestic turnover decreased by 0.8 percent.
In the three months ended June, manufacturing turnover advanced 3.9 percent from a year earlier, following the first quarter's 1.5 percent gain.
Separately, the agency said tourist overnight stays in Finnish accommodation facilities decreased 3 percent year-on-year in July. Stays by domestic tourists dropped 4 percent, while stays by foreign tourists decreased 2 percent.
