GERRY WEBER International AG (GRYIF.PK) reported Group sales revenues for the first nine months of the financial year of 554.4 million euros, an increase of 13.9% on the previous year. The Group has slightly increased its sales target for the full year 2011/12 to 800 million euros from 795 million euros. In the first nine months of 2011/12, the GERRY WEBER Group generated earnings before interest and taxes of 66.7 million euros, which represents an increase of 17.0%.
The Group reported third-quarter sales revenues of 178.4 million euros, an increase of 21.9% on the previous year. GERRY WEBER attributed this primarily to the converted WISSMACH stores and the newly opened Houses of the Group. In spite of the start-up and conversion costs incurred in conjunction withthe WISSMACH stores acquired with effect from 15 March 2012, earningsbefore interest and taxes increased by 20.2% to 19.7 million euros from last year.
