The Swiss franc staged a sharp gain against major rivals at about 7:00 am ET Friday.
At present, the franc is worth fresh multi-month highs of 0.9271 against the US dollar, 84.09 versus the Japanese yen and a 3-day high of 1.5065 against the British pound from yesterday's close of 0.9356, 82.88 and 1.5115, respectively.
