Greenback Mixed Ahead Of U. Of Michigan Confidence Data

The preliminary report of Reuters/University of Michigan's consumer confidence index for September is scheduled to release at 9:55 am ET Friday.

The US dollar showed mixed trading against major opponents ahead of the report. The greenback declined against the euro an the franc, While edged up versus the currencies of Japan and U.K. Presently, the dollar is trading near 0.9262 against the franc, 1.6225 versus the British pound, 78.14 against the yen and 1.3135 versus the euro.
