Dollar Ticks Down Versus European Majors Amid U. Of Michigan Confidence Data

The US currency traded lower against most major European rivals after the releasing of Reuters/University of Michigan's consumer confidence index for the month of September at about 9:55 am ET Friday.

Currently, the greenback is worth 0.9254 against the franc, 1.6225 against the pound and 1.3145 versus the euro.
