Jamey Johnson will join Jessi Colter, widow of Waylon Jennings, as well as Jennings' Waymore's Blues Band, at the "Full Moon Full Life" benefit concert on September 29 in Normandy, Tennessee. The concert will benefit pancreatic cancer research at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The concert, along with a live auction, will take place on Front Street in front of the River Café. The Café is run by Jennings' longtime assistant, Nikki Mitchell. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December of 2010 and is also a close friend of both Colter and Johnson.

"To know Nikki is to love her, as Waylon, Shooter and I could testify, having known her and worked with her for many years," Colter said. "I am exceedingly proud of her spirit to win."

Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from "Full Moon Full Life" will go to TGen, and 25 percent will go to Johns Hopkins.
