Czech Export Price Inflation Slows In July

Czech export price inflation slowed to 4.7 percent in July from 5.1 percent in June, the Czech Statistical Office reported Monday.

Likewise, import prices rose at a slower pace of 5.5 percent compared to 6.6 percent in the prior month.

The terms of trade increased to 99.2 percent from 98.6 percent in June and they have stayed in negative values for the thirty-second straight month, the data showed.

Month-on-month, export prices were down 0.4 percent, reversing a 0.8 percent rise in June. At the same time, and import prices dipped 0.5 percent, larger than June's 0.1 percent drop.
