In an interview with RTTNews, Mike Englund, chief economist of Action Economics, foresees continued weakness heading into the end of the year. "We have been seeing the global ISM measures across the world dropping back...The US data has been more mixed, but we're seeing a similar pattern here. Primarily the concern has been in Europe and China however; we're not sure to what degree the world economy is going to contract going into the end of the year but that's clearly the focus in the markets," says Englund.
