Gainers:

General Mills, Inc. (GIS: Quote) is rising more than 2 percent to $40.15. The company's first quarter profit increased from the year-ago quarter and its adjusted earnings per share were above Wall Street view. Net sales for the quarter rose 5.3 percent, but missed the consensus estimate. Meanwhile, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2013 earnings per share guidance.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. (CBRL: Quote) is up 7 percent to $68.11. The company's fourth quarter profit jumped from the same period prior year. Total revenue improved from the year-ago quarter and topped the consensus estimate.

Ramtron International Corp. (RMTR: Quote) is rising more than 7 percent to $3.09. Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (CY) has agreed to acquire the company at a raised offer price of $3.10 per share in cash. Ramtron, which rejected Cypress' prior offers, now unanimously recommends stockholders to accept the offer.

Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (ACHN: Quote) is gaining over 12 percent to $9.11.

Decliners:

AutoZone, Inc. (AZO: Quote) is falling 4 percent to $343.48. The company's fourth quarter profit improved from the year-ago period and was above Wall Street view. Sales increased 4.6 percent from the previous year period, but missed the consensus estimate. The company said its same store sales performance was below its expectations for the quarter.

Ascena Retail Group Inc. (ASNA) is down 4 percent to $20.11. The company's fourth quarter profit plunged from the previous year period. However, net sales for the period rose 29 percent and beat analysts' projection.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of Network Engines, Inc. (NEI: Quote) was halted.
