During New York afternoon trading on Wednesday, the Australian dollar advanced further against the US currency.
The Aussie appreciated by 0.75 percent to a 2-day high of 1.0499 versus the greenback as of 12:30 pm ET from previous session's low of 1.0432. The pair closed yesterday's North American session at 1.0459. The Aussie-greenback pair is presently worth 1.0493 with 1.0508 seen as the next likely resistance level.
