China Botanic Pharmaceutical Inc. (CBP: Quote) reported third-quarter net income of $3.3 million, or $0.09 per share, compared to $2.5 million, or $0.0.07 per share in the same quarter a year ago.
Operating income was $3.8 million, up 26.8% from $3.0 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2011.
Net revenue increased 21.8% to $15.08 million from $12.38 million in the comparable quarter last year.
For fiscal year 2012, China Botanic reaffirmed its guidance of revenues of between $91.6 million and $93.1 million, representing an increase of 26% to 28% over fiscal year 2011 revenue of $72.7 million. The company expects net income to be in the range of $32.7 million to $33.2 million, representing an increase of between 26% and 28% over fiscal year 2011 net income of $25.9 million.
