Ocado Group plc (OCDO.L) posted a 9.9% growth in its 12-week Gross sales to 162.6 million pounds, from 147.9 million pounds last year, with average orders per week rising 8.6% to 120,494 from 110,945 in the equivalent period in 2011.
For the 12-week period, average order size was 112.44 pounds, versus 111.08 pounds in the 2011 period. Year-to-date gross sales growth to the end of the third quarter was 11.3%.
While the company does not anticipate consumer pressure and volatility to ease in the immediate future, it expects an increase in the rate of sales growth in the fourth quarter.
