Spanish Broadcasting System Forms Strategic Alliance With TuneIn - Quick Facts

Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. (SBSA: Quote) or SBS announced that they have formed a strategic alliance with TuneIn to offer listeners access to SBS Radio programming. TuneIn is a free service that allows more than 40 million people to listen to music, sports, comedy and news streams from around the world.

"We have always believed in the value of great local content, and this alliance validates the demand we know exists for our original programming while at the same time creating a new revenue source for the company," said Andrew Polsky, VP of Digital Sales at Spanish Broadcasting System.

There was a mixed performance on Wall Street on Friday. Shares suffered an early decline, as investors continued to express worries about the Federal Reserve. The major averages are currently posting notable losses, near their lows for the young session. After reporting a sharp drop in new orders for manufactured durable goods in the previous month, the Commerce Department released a report on Friday showing that durable goods orders rebounded by more than anticipated in the month of April. The report said durable goods orders surged up by 3.3 percent in April after tumbling by a revised 5.9 percent in March.
