Cardiome Pharma Corp. (CRME, COM.TO) on Thursday announced the appointment Jennifer Archibald as chief financial officer, in place of Curtis Sikorsky, who has resigned from the position.Sikorsky will continue to serve the company in a consulting capacity during the transition.
Cardiome Pharma Interim CEO William Hunter said, "We are delighted to have Jennifer join the Cardiome executive management team. Over the past six years, Jennifer has proven herself to be a highly capable senior finance leader."
Jennifer has worked for 15 years in both public and private companies, and has been Cardiome's Director of Finance for the past six years. Prior to joining Cardiome, Jennifer managed the accounting operations at the corporate office of The Jim Pattison Group and was earlier a corporate auditor with KPMG.
Shares of Cardiome Pharma closed at $0.35 down 1 cent or 2.72% on the Nasdaq.On the TSX, the stock closed at C$0.34.
