The Australian dollar erased some of its previous session gains against the currencies of the U.S. and Japan on Friday morning in New York.
The aussie is presently quoted at 1.0469 against the greenback and 81.83 against the yen, down from early European session's multi-day highs of 1.0521 and 82.33, respectively.
