The New Zealand dollar edged down from early morning session's uptrend against most of its major counterparts in New York mid-day deals on Friday.
After hitting a 1-week high of 0.8339 against the US dollar at about 7:45 am ET and a new multi-week high of 1.5577 versus the euro by about 7:30 am ET, the kiwi reversed its direction and presently trading near 0.8298 and 1.5660, respectively.
The NZ unit that hit a 2-day high of 65.25 versus the Japanese yen at around 9:20 am ET, traded down thereafter and as of now trading at 64.88.
