Ne-Yo will be featured on an upcoming episode of the VH1 program Behind the Music. During the show, according to Entertainment Weekly, Ne will dish on the details of his collab with Michael Jackson before the latter abruptly died in 2009.
In the preview, Ne remembers how Jacko called him in that fateful year. Thinking it was a joke, he hung up: "I figured it was somebody playin'."
Once Jackson called back, Ne-Yo says "we met up in New York, then he smiles and gave me a big hug, and says, 'You know what my favorite song of yours is? [singing] Please don't worry about me, I'm fine'. He started singing my damn song. I almost lost it at that point. I maintained, but inside, I was jumping around like a six-year-old girl. It was bad. It was really, really bad."
Behind the Music, featuring Ne-Yo, airs Sunday, September 23 at 9 PM on VH1.
