Billy Dean is prepping the release of his first album in four years, A Man of Good Fortune, due September 25.
"Music has deeply enriched my life," said Dean in a statement. "My fans have waited patiently for this new release because they know this one is for them. It's because of my fans and their support that I've spent most of my life on a musical journey, and that's why I truly feel like A Man Of Good Fortune."
Dean spent the last few months working on the album and claims writing credits on seven of its ten tracks. He adds that the "record sounds young, but the lyrics are for grown ups."
A Man of Good Fortune, sold on the Red Distribution label, is available for pre-sale through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Dean's official site.
