Aware Completes Sale Of Selected Patents And Patent Applications To TQ Delta

Aware Inc. (AWRE: Quote) announced that it has completed the sale of selected patents and patent applications to TQ Delta, LLC for US$16 million. The patents and patent applications relate to DSL technology.

The company said that the sale was part of its patent management operation's efforts to sell and/or license portions of its patent portfolio. Global IP Law Group LLC represented Aware in this transaction.

Cisco Results Top Estimates

Cisco Systems, Inc., the world's largest computer networking gear maker, said Wednesday after the markets closed that its third quarter profit rose 14.5% from last year, helped by higher sales and a tax benefit. The company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, also came in above analysts' expectations as did its quarterly sales.
