Norway's unemployment rate remained unchanged sequentially in the three months ended July, data released by Statistics Norway showed Wednesday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3 percent in the May-July period from the preceding three months. The latest figure matched economists' forecast.
There were around 81,000 unemployed persons in the country in the May-July period, broadly unchanged from the previous period.
Meanwhile, the employment rate dropped 0.4 percentage points to 69.2 percent. The number of persons in employment decreased by about 4,000 to around 2.59 million, data showed.
