Gainers:

Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) is rising 16 percent to $8.30. The company slipped to a loss in its second quarter, but was lesser than what analysts had estimated. Revenues declined 31 percent from the year-ago quarter.

Finish Line Inc. (FINL) is rising over 6 percent to $24.20. The company's second quarter earnings improved from the year-ago period. Consolidated net sales rose 16.1 percent and topped analysts estimate. The company also announced that it will become exclusive partner of athletic shoes for Macy's (M). On longer term, Finish Line expects this agreement to result in additional sales of $250 million to $350 million annually.

AZZ Inc. (AZZ) is rising 15 percent to $40 based on its positive second quarter results. The company also agreed to acquire Acton, Ontario-based Galvcast Manufacturing Inc.

Cytori Therapeutics, Inc. (CYTX) is rising 14 percent to $4.40. The company has received a contract that may be valued up to $106 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.

Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (QCOR) is rising 8 percent to $19.26. The company has adopted a policy to pay a regular quarterly dividend. The company also increased its common stock repurchase program to 7 million shares.

Decliners:

Walgreen Co. (WAG) is down more than 3 percent to $35.35. The company's fourth quarter profit plunged from the year-ago period. Sales for the quarter decreased 5.0 percent and also missed the consensus estimate.

ADTRAN Inc. (ADTN) is falling 11 percent to $17.15 as the company lowered its revenue outlook for the third quarter, citing a challenging spending environment due to macro-economic and regulatory concerns.

Nike Inc. (NKE) is down 3 percent to $93.05 following the release of its first quarter results.

Trading halt:

Trading in shares of Quest Software, Inc. (QSFT) was halted. Dell Inc. (DELL) said it has completed the acquisition of Quest Software. As a result, Quest Software has became a wholly owned subsidiary of Dell.
