Actress Amanda Bynes has pleaded not guilty on misdemeanor hit and run charges in a Van Nuys, California court. The plea was entered on Thursday and is the most recent turn in a string of auto-related brushes with the law for the actress.
Earlier this month Bynes was ordered not to drive by a California judge and then had her car impounded when she was caught driving without a license. A rep from the Burbank, California Airport, where Bynes was caught driving, confirmed the news with people.com last week:
"I can confirm that Amanda Bynes was cited at approximately 8:20 a.m. Sunday for driving with a suspended license," Victor Gill of the Burbank Airport Police tells People.com. "Her car was impounded and she received a misdemeanor citation. She was not arrested. I believe she was by herself. This occurred on Hollywood Way, just south of the main entrance to the Bob Hope Airport."
